Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) Overview | ||||||||||||

Works closely with patients and under the supervision of a dentist before, during, and after dental appointments, treatments, or consultations. Assists with scheduling appointments, setting up equipment, preparing patients for treatments, and keeping records for dentists and other dental health professionals. Assists during some dental or minor surgical procedures.
