Originally the library when the Allen family lived in the house
F. M. Hubbell moved the library to create a reception room for visitors
One of two pink Spanish marble fireplaces original to the home
Mirror above the mantel is 8 ft tall and manufactured by the same New York City cabinet maker
Doors, ceilings, paneling, and trim in the reception room are walnut and butternut for contrasting effects.
