Section 1: Implementation of Services Page 5

Implementation of Services
Positive public health outcomes cannot be reached from the efforts of the ~450 employees at IDPH alone.  Positive public health outcomes are a result of local public health offices, IDPH, non-profit organizations, health care providers, policymakers, businesses, patients, and many others working together.  In this collaborative effort, it takes hundreds of thousands of boots on the ground employees doing countless hours of work to improve the life of all Iowans.
In this module, we are going to highlight entry-level career opportunities available in implementing essential public health work.
Mental Health Technician (MHT) Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Radiology Technician Dental Assistant Medical Billing/Coding Specialist
